Send over your character design — it can be created in Moho, drawn in Photoshop/Illustrator, or even sketched on paper. I’ll prepare it for rigging and bring it to life. A character sheet isn’t required but is helpful for achieving the exact results you want.
Once I have your design, we’ll go over what you want your rig to do. From simple movement to advanced controls, I’ll build the custom rig to match your animation needs.
After confirming everything works, I’ll send you the finished Moho project file. You’ll also receive an overview video explaining how the rig works and how to use it for animation.
Moho rigging is the process of creating a digital skeleton that allows your 2D character to move smoothly without redrawing each frame. It makes animation faster, more consistent, and professional.
Depending on the type of rig it can be anywhere from a few hours to a few weeks.
Pricing depends on the character’s complexity, level of controls, and turnaround time. Rates typically range from $500–$1,500 per character
A basic rig includes bones for body movement, simple eye blinks, and mouth swaps. An advanced rig may add smart bone dials, head turns, physics, IK/FK controls, and reusable setups for studio-level production.
A simple character rig can take 1–2 days, while a complex production-ready rig may take 1–2 weeks. Faster delivery is possible with rush options.
Yes. Moho supports PSD and SVG imports, and we can separate and prepare your artwork layers for rigging.
Absolutely. Rigs can include phoneme mouth shapes, switch layers for expressions, and smart bone controls for smooth lip syncing and facial movement.
A professional ensures clean controls, optimized layers, and animator-friendly setups. This prevents technical headaches and lets you focus on storytelling and animation.
Moho rigs are used in TV series, indie films, explainer videos, ads, YouTube content, educational media, and even game cutscenes. Both studios and independent creators rely on Moho for efficient 2D animation.
